Sports Break
SPORTS BREAK — Keep an eye out for the next Holiday dates!
What is Sports Break!?
Sports Break is our school holiday programme! It’s jam packed with a variety of activities, keeping young people aged 11 to 17 engaged and active.
Among the activities we run are swimming, museum visits, sports days, beach hangs, and the occasional movie when everyone needs some calm time.
Sports Break runs during the school holidays from 10am till 2:30pm.
Sports Break is run by trained youth workers, who have experience working with rangatahi from a range of backgrounds and ethnicities. While the focus is on team-building and group fun, individual needs and abilities are always sensitively catered to.
Sports Break is perfect for local young people who love physical play, learning new skills, and making friends. By the end of the holidays, we've become one big whānau and participants can't wait for the next programme to roll around.
We're especially interested in supporting our older, returning rangatahi to step into volunteer leadership roles – one day they might run Sports Break themselves!
